The Frogs and the Iron Post.

Once upon a time, there lived lots of frogs in a small lake. In the middle of the lake there was an old Iron post. The post stated that this lake was made by a king who had created this lake for the benefit of the people to collect rain water. The iron pole was very long and the surface was very slimy and slippery. The frogs got together one day and decided to do something fun and decided to have a competition for climbing the iron pole. The winner who is able to climb the pole and stay on it for a minute without falling will win and will be awarded a prize. The day of the race arrived and it was crowded with lots of frogs from everywhere and there were frogs from faraway places also participating in this competition. The temperature was hot as it was summer and lots of noise and chaos as frogs were excited. The race started and everyone was not sure if anyone could reach the top of the pole. people were shouting, “This is impossible, this looks so difficult, it's too slippery and dangerous!, No one can be successful for reaching the top and the race will be incomplete most likely!!” All the frogs were passing negative comments. And this was exactly what was happening when the race began. Any frog attempting to climb the pole would climb a bit and slip down as it was slippery. The crowd would shout impossible, impossible and the frogs attempting to climb would give up quickly. There was one young frog who was very enthusiastic and was trying to climb to the top of the pole. He kept on climbing higher and higher slowly and steadily and finally reached the top and stood on top for a full minute before slipping and falling in the water. He was declared the winner of the game! and was given an award. Everyone was crowding around him and asking him lots of questions like “How did you do this impossible task so easily and how did you win? Please tell us the secret of your success!” Then someone from the back shouted to the crowd, “What is the point of asking this young frog anything he is deaf!” At times we too have the capacity to win and achieve our goals but we tend to get influenced by negative attitude of other people around us and our own negative thoughts and doubts. So we sometimes don’t pursue our dreams and go through our life.

Wisdom, life lessons and Rules- We must become deaf to negative thoughts and negative opinions of others and pursue our dreams saying, “I can and I will go for my dreams! We must not be blinded by negativity and keep our vision of our dreams, goals and victory clear in front of us always!
